CNIITMASH confirmed the status of the State Scientific Centre

JSC “RPA “CNIITMASH” (belonging within JSC Atomenergomash, a machine-building division of ROSATOM) maintains the status of the State Scientific Centre of the Russian Federation till the end of 2019, as it was declared in RF Government Resolution No.1221-r dated June 6, 2019, signed by the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

The decision on prolongation of the State Scientific Centre status for CNIITMASH and 41 more scientific institutions was adopted at the meeting devoted to the performance evaluation of science organizations having the status of SRC in a span of 2015 - 2017. Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Russian Academy of Sciences, ROSSTANDART, ROSATOM, ROSKOSMOS and a number of scientific organizations took part in the meeting. In order to make a conclusion on maintaining the status of the SSC of the Russian Federation, the commission members considered informative reports of organizations on the implementation of the functions of the SSC, reporting forms posted in the Federal system for monitoring the performance of scientific organizations performing research, development and technological work, and expert opinions on the results SSC works in 2015-2017.

SSC Association incorporates 42 key scientific organizations of Russia, which demonstrate high performance in the field of science and complete critical scientific and technology tasks set by the State. Annually, the responsible agencies confirm their leadership status, in our case it is ROSATOM. The evaluation results are sent by SC ROSATOM to the Ministry of Education and Science, where they are considered an approved. For CNIITMASH the confirmation of the SSC status is a landmark event, which proves that the Institute does not benefit from the past achievements only, but is constantly evolving, having grounds to be proud of its current work, and, verging towards its 90th anniversary, faces the future with confidence,” – summarized the Deputy General Director Science of CNIITMASH Konstantin Kosyrev.
